The original kitchen had few features worth preserving, and even they needed a lot of work, such as the pressed tin ceiling and the door trim. Designing the new kitchen was a culmination of a variety of ideas we had for projects that didn’t fit into our own space.
The overall result is an inviting space that reminds us of some of our favorite coffee shops in Chicago.
